There is an opening for two student interns at the Golden Sunbeam International School of Science and Technology. Students in Agribusiness or related programs are invited to consider this great opportunity! Spend the Winter 2016 semester in Ghana, West Africa. Duties include assisting in teaching agribusiness related classes as well as developing business plans for agricultural enterprises for the Golden Sunbeam. Participation in crop and livestock production is a great opportunity to experience international production, food processing and marketing/distribution.
Student interns live at the Golden Sunbeam school receiving board and room as part of their internship. Travel expenses are covered as well as potential scholarship funds that can be applied for.
The Golden Sunbeam school is a private school owned by an LDS member family who founded the school 25 years ago. The school includes grades Pre-School through 12 grade. Recently the school was granted accrediation in University programs including a B.S. in Agribusiness and B.S. in Nursing.
The internship will also provide connections between the Golden Sunbeam, the Church Self Reliance programs and BYUI Pathway program and the new BYUI online Certificate in Agribusiness. The network between all of these are great and will provide a great resource in future.
Interested students should contact Brother McGary in Smith 208A or drop him an email at [email protected].
