Larsen Farms is a locally owned company. They are one of the few vertically integrated potato growers in America!
In the past 45 years, Larsen Farms has grown from an 80 acre plot of land in rural southeastern Idaho, to an operation spanning tens of thousands of acres in three different states!
Their products are distributed around the globe. They grow, store, process, and transport their own potatoes, as well as develop, produce, and distribute a growing list of packaged foods, such as dehydrated potatoes and potato flakes.
The finance/analyst group of Larsen Farms will be visiting us. This group consists of three people, all of whom are BYU-Idaho Alumni;
Mandy Jeppesen (BS, Agribusiness & Financial Economics,)
Mark Purcell (BS, Business Management,)
Chris King (BS, Business Management.)
They will be talking to us about the history of Larsen Farms, where Larsen Farms planning to go in the coming years, what their individual roles are in the company, etc.
We will be meeting at 6pm, in Benson 270.*
