Idaho is advertising for 4 new Pathways positions this year.
The Natural Resource Conservation Service is part of the US Department of Agriculture. They are currently conducting a national search to fill four internship positions in Idaho. Last year, a BYU-Idaho student was selected to fill one of the positions and she had an outstanding time working with soils in the Targhee Caribou National Forest. If you have interest in working within the US Federal system for conservation, agronomy, or soil science then this is a great way to get your foot in the door. NRCS will work with those students who have a successful internship experience to place them in a full-time position after graduation.
